About the Founder and Director – Madeleine Dahlstedt

 

Madeleine Dahlstedt studied for her Bachelor’s degree at the Architectural Association, London, followed by a Master’s degree at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm.

She joined Foster + Partners in 2007, where she became an Associate and worked on large-scale projects for nearly a decade, including Apple’s new headquarters in Silicon Valley, Samba Bank in Riyadh, and the Norton Museum of Art in Florida, among many others.

After gaining experience in one of the world’s largest architectural offices, Madeleine wanted to focus on smaller-scale projects with shorter lead times and faster results. In 2015, responding to client demand for expert residential architecture, she founded Scandi Studio Limited.

Since starting the practice, Madeleine and her team have completed over 15 projects in London, as well as numerous projects abroad around Europe — including Switzerland, Ireland, and Italy — and in the US, ranging from small residential renovations to large-scale luxury homes, bringing their expertise and thoughtful design approach to each project.
