During 2020, a challenging time for everyone, the client chose to upgrade selected rooms of their Georgian house in Fulham. The works were successfully completed while the family worked from home and their three children were home-schooled. The main objective was to create a dedicated TV and library snug for the children, achieved by reconfiguring the floor plan and reducing the central section of the living room. A sliding door was introduced to separate the kitchen, improving both privacy and flexibility. Extensive bespoke joinery was installed in the children’s bedrooms, along with a new walk-in closet in the principal bedroom and a thoughtfully designed home office space to support remote working.
