A breathless Victorian residential house which spans over 4 floors. The kitchen area is located on the lower ground floor with a direct access to a large and lush garden but with very little connection with the floor above. As this large family spends most of its time on this floor, the team decided to open up the ceiling in the kitchen to connect the with the floor above. Subsequently, we created a mezzanine floor and a double height kitchen space, not only flooded with light but also with a spatial connection to the rest of the house.
